Today was Grandparents' Day at school. Kate was just soooo excited her Papa was going to be visiting her classroom and eating lunch with her in the cafeteria. For the past three years, Kate has tagged along as Papa visited Tim and Meg on Grandparents' Day; however, this year he was going to her kindergarten room visiting HER! She couldn't have been more proud to have her favorite person in the whole world there so she could show him off to her teacher and classmates. It sounds like they had a great time and really enjoyed recess together!
Meg and Tim also had a nice time with Papa. However, at this stage of the game, Grandparents' Day is more about "what Papa is bringing for lunch." After giving Papa individual menus from three different restaurants last night, they all agreed on Mc Donald's. Had they given Dad the sad puppy-dog eyes, I know he would have gone to all three places to get lunch.
Papa is one big push over, for sure!
