My family may be in a bit of trouble on Thursday. This is the first time I will be cooking the entire Thanksgiving meal. I am okay with the mashed potatoes, rolls and pumpkin pie; however, the turkey makes me nervous!
Let's just hope I remember to defrost the bird before the big day!

it takes more than 1 day to defrost a BIG turkey ~ Just buy a fresh one
Mrs. Fisch
Fresh! Fresh? No one said I could buy a fresh turkey. I should have gone with Michelle's advice and just got the dinner catered...!
Have no fear, Mrs. Fisch! The bird is currently chillin' in the fridge! Thank goodness he came with directions!
Love you!
The very first time I ever made a Turkey for Thanksgiving was in Japan! They assumed that all American missionaries make turkeys for Thanksgiving... so that is what I was supposed to do. And not only did I have to make one turkey, I had to make 3... enough to feed the whole church! Well, it was burnt on the outside and raw in the middle... thank goodness I was in Japan. They didn't know any better and besides they like their food raw! Have a great Thanksgiving... we have so much to be thankful for this year. Don't we!
